I've turned down two sponsors this year and taken one I'm still not sure about. My list is small and engaged and I don't want to torch that, but I also can't afford to keep saying no out of nerves. How are you all actually deciding brand fit — is there a line you draw, or is it just gut?
How do you actually decide if a sponsor is a fit?
What a useful answer should help achieve
A clearer rule for judging sponsor fit so they stop deciding on nerves alone.
Already tried
They turned down two sponsors and accepted a third they remain unsure about.
Constraints and unknowns
Small, engaged list they cannot afford to alienate, and limited time to vet every offer.
