Letting my editor pick the niche for a month

I've spent a year circling different niches and never committing. Two weeks ago I handed the decision to my editor instead, and told her to only accept work that fits. Not because she knows better, but because I clearly cannot make the call. Four projects in, and it's strange how much easier reviewing work is when you did not choose the client.
