Starting a public journal to find a new audience

I have a handful of real customers and a lot of doubt, and most of what I know comes from a very small sample. I'm writing this down in public because I need to stop guessing in private. If it works, the record will show what actually moved; if it doesn't, at least I'll know where it broke.
