Testing a deposit to smooth out my cash flow

I'm testing whether asking for a 50% deposit at booking, instead of full payment after the last session, makes any difference to how many people actually book. I want to change one thing at a time so I know what moved the number. My worry is that the deposit scares off the people who are already unsure.
