I have eight paying subscribers and no idea how to show a new parent what they are buying. So I am testing one thing for two weeks: a free recorded lesson sent to anyone who asks, before they pay. My guess is it gets me fewer sign-ups but better ones. It may also just eat the hour I was trying to win back.
