Testing a paid lead magnet instead of free checklist

I have been giving away a free content checklist for eight months. It gets downloaded a lot and almost nobody books a call. So this month I put a ₹2,500 paid intro workshop in its place, same landing page, same traffic source. Two weeks in, the numbers are small and I am not sure yet. Will post what happens either way.
