I'm a solo data consultant billing $165/hr for sponsorship and ads analytics. I keep getting asked for the same 6 things, so I spent two months building a template kit and starting to write a bank of reusable dashboards. I want to launch it at $1,200. My worry is I'm spending 20 hrs/mo on something that just cannibalizes my consulting time and nobody actually buys. I can't tell if this is a real product or just me repackaging the same hours.
Trying to turn my sponsorship analytics work into a product — is this just consulting with extra steps?
What a useful answer should help achieve
A clear signal on whether to keep building the product or kill it, and what a realistic price/rung looks like given his hourly rate and cashflow.
Already tried
Built a template kit and reusable dashboards; priced it at $1,200 based on a gut feel; started writing sales copy.
Constraints and unknowns
Trade-off is always time; solo and capped on hours; needs to protect consulting cashflow while he tests.

Define it for me: is this a done-with-you implementation, or something someone downloads and runs themselves?
