So I'll say it first: I made engagement a real part of the business a year ago—weekly studio updates, monthly challenges, a private chat—and now it's the thing I'm most embarrassed about. One-to-one music coaching clients, mostly parents, about 45 active members. My numbers say they open the emails and then say nothing. I've tried rewards, a survey, casual jokes, a listening call. Nothing sticks. What do I try next?
Help me fix community engagement
What a useful answer should help achieve
One or two concrete changes that can realistically lift engagement without burning more hours each week.
Already tried
Weekly updates, a monthly challenge, a small premium chat room, a rewards attempt, a survey, and a listening call.
Constraints and unknowns
I do everything myself, budget is near zero, and I can't keep spending evenings chasing quiet members.
