Public build-in-public journal: trying to ship a second offer from my retainer practice

I've been running a one-to-one retainer practice for instructional design work for three years, and I want to stop trading hours for money. The honest problem is that I'm terrible at follow-up. I'll have a great conversation, promise to send something, and then it's three weeks later and I'm embarrassed. So I'm logging this in public to make the follow-up real.
