Getting paid — connect your own payment account

Gbeya is not a middleman. You connect your own payment account and every sale — products, courses, services, bookings, community tiers, sponsorship invoices — is charged there and settles to you on your provider's normal schedule. Gbeya takes 0% of your sales.

Connect

1. Settings → Payments → Connect. Choose your provider: Stripe, Paystack, Flutterwave, PayPal, Razorpay, Mollie, Square, Paddle, PayU or Mercado Pago.
2. Paste the keys from your provider's dashboard (we show exactly which ones). They are stored encrypted.
3. Press Verify — we make a test call to confirm the keys work, and register the webhook that tells us when a payment lands.

One provider is the default; you can connect more and switch.

What happens on a sale

• The customer pays on your provider's hosted checkout (their card details never touch us).
• Your provider notifies us, we verify the notification is genuine, and only then is the order fulfilled: the download unlocks, the course enrols, the booking confirms, the receipt goes out.
• The order appears in Orders; the money appears in Finance as income.

Refunds

Refund from your provider's dashboard as you always have. We see the refund and update the order, revoke access if the refund is in full, and reflect it in Finance.

Taxes and policies

VAT/GST is set per country in Finance → Tax; receipts show it. Your refund policy and terms live in Policies and are linked from every checkout.
