What should you charge for your online course?

Price by the result your student gets, not by hours of video. Enter what the outcome is worth to them and how much support you give, and see a price band and what a launch could earn.

For example the extra income, savings or time value they gain in the first year.

Share of your audience who buy. Use your own past launches if you have them.

How it is calculated

Price band = outcome value x 5% to 15%, multiplied by support level (self-paced x1, with community x1.5, live cohort x3). Launch revenue = list size x conversion rate x the middle of the band.

Questions about this tool

Why price by value instead of by hours of content?

Students pay for the result, not the runtime. A short course that saves someone thousands can be priced well above a long course on a low-value topic.

Where do the 5% and 15% come from?

They are a working rule of thumb, not a published benchmark: a price that is a small share of the value gained is easy to justify. Adjust it with your own sales data.

Does Gbeya take a cut of course sales?

No. Gbeya charges a 0% platform fee on every plan; your payment provider’s fees still apply.

Ready to sell the course?

Build, price and sell it from one workspace with a 0% platform fee.
